James recieved his Bachelors degree in Business from Central Michigan University. He went on to Miami Jacobs College and got an Associates Degree in Computer Technology. James has attended seminars and classes in photography at Winoma Insitiute, University of Florida, and Sinclair College. James has studied under great names such as Tim Kelly, Don Blair, Clay Blackmore, Jon Johnson, and David Zizer. James is still going to seminars that increase his knowledge in the art of fine photography. James started his love for photography, acting as a freelance photographer for his hometown newspaper. In 1987 James opened his first studio. In 2004, he moved it to Beavercreek where it is located now. James has won many, many awards for his photographic work. One was a "Loan Collection" print from the "Professional Photographers of America" He continues to win awards for his unique photographic style. James has 2 merits to go, to become a "Master Photographer". This is a extremely diffulcut and time consuming degree. James has already earned the "Certified Professional Photographer" degree. Only 3% of all the professional photo- graphers hold this honor.
